What are the basic requirements to use the service?

• You must have a broadband Ethernet Internet connection

What additional investments do I need?

You don't need to purchase anything else! You can use your existing analogue telephone handset. For enhanced systems you can buy SIP-enabled "hard phones" which are dedicated VoIP telephones that plug directly into the internet. If you're travelling and using Sofphone, you'll need a microphone and speakers (built-in speakers work as well).

Can I keep my current office phone number?

Yes. As a result of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, we can request your current carrier transfer your existing number to your new account.

How can I tell if my current broadband connection is fast enough to support this service?

What happens if I'm offline?

Calls can be forwarded to another regular (PSTN) number or delivered to voicemail.
