As a marketer, what market segment would target with VoIP services?

As broadband access is widely available and popular and as VoIP-related concerns such as reliability, quality and security fade away, the question of target market comes to mind for both advertisers and publishers alike.

Current market trends and expert predictions project a pleasant picture for VoIP providers.

Residential users of all kinds, price conscious or heavily-funded, early adopters or laggards all get more educated on basic technological terms and practices that enables them to select the best available service provided in technology or telecommunications.

Businesses are naturally driven by finding the top solutions in service features and costs. VoIP bring cost cuttings not only through the phone bills but also reducing service and vendor maintenance expenses.

So VoIP really is for everyone. Targeting the segments, however, is another question.
