One phone at a time

Microsoft's Small Business Summit program is, far as I can tell, designed to suck you in and help them take over the world. They've even got a button on their home page that says, "Total Tech Takeover." Hang on, I read that too quick. It actually says, "Total Tech Makeover." Well, that may be, but you know what they say, "Just because you're paranoid..."
Doesn't mean you won't get something out of one. Their last one was a couple of weeks ago and the coolest part is most of what you could sign up for is a) free and b) available via streaming media. Booya! You have to admit, it's hard not to file under cool-shiny-tech-stuff. Even if it is a glorified, interactive, three-day commercial.
One of the many things they unleashed upon the Small Business community was the three-pronged Response Point voip internet phone system. Available later this year, the D-Link DVX-2000, Uniden Evolo, and Quanta Syspine are supposed to make it easier for users to configure their phone systems. There was a lot of excitement and chest pounding over these phones, but at the end of the day, what I want to know is, are we looking at the dawn of a voip blue screen of death era?
