Will my phone adapter allow VPN connections?

If your model adapter is a router/adapter in one ( RT31P ) then yes. Your voip phone adapter is built by Linksys and has been designed to allow VPN connections using both IPSec and PPTP.

If your model adapter is any other type it is not a router so this question does not apply. It will not inhibit use of VPN.
