How do I use the Auto Callback Feature?

Auto Callback allows you to request notification when a busy line within your network becomes available. A distinctive ring will be used to notify you when the user is available. The user must be in-network (a voip.com customer)

Auto Callback is programmed from your website control panel.

Activate Auto Callback from the Website Control Panel

  1. Login to your account
  2. Click the Call Features tab
  3. Check the box next to Auto Callback to activate this feature. (Removing the checkmark will deactivate this feature)
  4. Click the Save Changes button

Using Auto Callback from your Telephone

  1. Dial your desired phone number
  2. If you hear a busy sound or a notification, dial 1.
  3. Hang up
  4. When the party is available, you will be notified by a distinctive ring

Note: This feature is available only when calling numbers in the voip.com network.
