How do I use the Call Waiting Feature?

Call Waiting allows the user to be notified of another incoming call while a call is already in progress. Call Waiting also gives the user the ability to answer the second call while keeping the first call on hold.

There are two ways to program this feature: from your website control panel (always on/off) and/or from your telephone (disabled per call).

Program Call Waiting from the Website Control Panel

  1. Login to your account
  2. Click the Call Features tab
  3. Place a checkmark next to Call Waiting to activate this feature (remove the checkmark to deactivate the feature)
  4. Click the Save Changes button

Using Call Waiting from your Telephone

  1. While on your current call, you will hear a beep tone indicating another call is being received
  2. When the beep tone alerts you to a second call, press your Flash or Hook button
  3. To switch to the original call, press your Flash or Hook button

Disable Call Waiting from your Telephone

  1. Before making the phone call, dial *70
  2. You will then hear a beeping dial tone as confirmation
  3. Call Waiting will be disabled until you complete the phone call and hang up your telephone
