What is the difference between DSL and Cable?
Generally, DSL provides High Speed Internet Access through a direct link or channel between you and your service provider (generally a traditional phone company). Cable modems also provide High Speed Access, however this channel is generally shared among all subscribers within a neighborhood. Heavy usage in a neighborhood may affect the performance of some Cable providers. Both Cable and DSL access can be used with VoIP and each service has advantages for your unique situation.
