Can I use my home's existing phone wiring?
At voip.com, we do not recommend attempting to use your home wiring with the phone adapter. Your home’s existing phone wiring may carry an electrical current which can short-out or cause damage to the Internet Phone adapter. This kind of electrical damage would not be covered by the manufacturer or voip.com. For more information on whether or not your existing home wiring can work with our system, please contact a certified and licensed electrician in your area.
