Where can I find my voip adapter’s MAC address?
A MAC (Media Access Control) address is essentially a 12-digit hexadecimal number that acts as a unique fingerprint for your networking equipment. Each piece of hardware in your network has its own MAC address that identifies it across the network.
The MAC address for your voip.com phone adapter allows it to link your phone to the voip.com network. To find your adapter's address:
1. Carefully take a look at the bottom of your voip.com phone adapter.
2. You'll see a couple of stickers on the bottom.
3. The one that says, "WAN MAC address" tells you what your device's MAC address is.
