What is Softphone?
The voip.com SoftPhone is a special program that lets you use your computer as a virtual telephone. You can make and receive calls right from your PC, including: computer-to-computer, computer-to-wireless, and computer-to-regular telephone calls. You'll also get a phone number, so people can call you up, regardless of whether they're on their computer, a cell phone, or using a traditional phone connected to the PSTN.
