How do I use the Auto Callback Feature?
Auto Callback allows you to request notification when a busy line within your network becomes available. A distinctive ring will be used to notify you when the user is available. The user must be in-network (a voip.com customer)
Auto Callback is programmed from your website control panel.
Activate Auto Callback from the Website Control Panel
- Login to your account
- Click the Call Features tab
- Check the box next to Auto Callback to activate this feature. (Removing the checkmark will deactivate this feature)
- Click the Save Changes button
Using Auto Callback from your Telephone
- Dial your desired phone number
- If you hear a busy sound or a notification, dial 1.
- Hang up
- When the party is available, you will be notified by a distinctive ring
Note: This feature is available only when calling numbers in the voip.com network.
