How do I set up my voicemail?

To set up your voicemail for the first time:

  Your voicemail can be setup using your voip.com phone or externally by calling into your voip.com phone.
  Please choose which setup option applies below.

  I would like to setup voicemail using my voip.com phone. (View Instructions)

1. From a touch-tone phone, dial your *98
2. You will be immediately prompted to enter your password
3. Enter your passcode
• Note: The default passcode is 0000
  (You can change this by logging into your account online)
4. Enter your new passcode and press the # key
5. Re-enter your new passcode and press the # key
6. Say the name you wish to record and press the # key
7. Press the * key to save your settings or follow the operator's instructions to re-record

1. From a touch-tone phone, dial your voip.com phone number
2. If you hear your greeting
• Press the star (*) key
3. Enter your passcode and then press the # key
• Note: The default passcode is 0000
4. Enter your new passcode and press the # key
5. Re-enter your new passcode and press the # key
6. Say the name you wish to record and press the # key
7. Press the * key to save your settings or follow the operator's instructions to re-record

• 0: Mailbox Options (Select this option to record Unavailable Greeting, Busy Greeting, Name, Temporary Greeting, or Change Passord)
• 1: Listen to New Messages
• 2: Change Folders
• 3: Advanced Options
• *: Help
• #: To Exit
