How do I use the Call Forwarding Busy Feature?
Call Forwarding Busy allows you to forward all your incoming calls to a different phone number if your phone is currently busy.
Call Forwarding Busy can be programmed from your website control panel or your telephone handset.
Program Call Forwarding Busy from the Website Control Panel
- Login to your account
- Click the Call Features tab
- Check the box next to Call Forwarding Busy to activate this feature (remove the checkmark to deactivate the feature)
- Enter the phone number where your calls should be forwarded
- Click the Save Changes button
Program Call Forwarding Busy from your Telephone
- Dial *90
- When prompted, enter the phone number for where the phone calls should be forwarded
- Press the # key to save the entry
- Example: *90 555-123-4569 #
Deactivate Call Forwarding Busy from your Telephone
- Dial *91
- A confirmation message will be played
Once the Call Forwarding Busy has been activated on the system will automatically forward calls to the phone number provided when your phone line is busy.
When forwarding your number, the caller id from the originating call will be sent along to the destination. This is currently the only option available, and you cannot forward your VOIP number's caller id instead.
