I want to keep my number. What do I do?

We understand that keeping your existing local number is very important. With voip.com, you don't have to lose your number if you switch to our Internet Telephone service. To see if you can keep your current number, please do the following:

1. Go to our Available Phone Numbers page and enter your current phone number in the "Can I keep my Current Number?" box. Simply click the Check Availability button to check if your number can transferred to voip.com
2. Sign-up for voip.com Internet Telephone service
3. Do not cancel your current local service
4. Review our transfer overview and follow our step-by-step transfer instructions

Generally, most transfers take less than 30 days to complete. It's very easy to transfer your number. All you have to do is signup for service, fill out a form, and sit back and enjoy your new voip.com Internet Telephone service.
