Refer Friends for Free Service
Refer your friends and family to voip and we'll give you two months of free phone service for each new customer!*
Here's how it works: First, sign up for the plan you want. Then, start referring friends or family members. When your friends sign up, they can post in your number or email so we know that you referred them (you can also tell us you referred someone in your account control panel by telling us the person's new number and email information). After your friend or family member has used our service for 90 days, we'll credit your account with 2 months of free voip service (up to $50.00). You'll keep getting this credit for each new referred friend or family member. Be sure to read the Terms of Free Service below.

What happens if I refer someone and they don't sign up?
In order to get free service, the people you refer actually have to complete the sign up process and maintain active accounts for at least 90 days.
What happens if I signup for the yearly plan?
For each referral that qualifies, your account will be credited with two months (2/12ths) value of your core account's yearly service charge. This credit will accrue and may be used when your account is renewed.
Do all the people I refer have to buy the same plan as me?
No, the plan you've chosen will be credited regardless of the plan your friends choose, so long as none of the plans or referrals are business customers. Free Service is available only to residential customers and referrals of residential accounts.
Is this a gimmick? How does this work?
At voip, we greatly value our customers and want to give them the best deals possible. If you let others know about our service and they signup, this is our way of saying thanks, its the least we can do. Simply, it's good business.

Terms of Free Service
In order to be eligible for the offer of Free Service, you must have activated your voip.com residential account, paid at least one monthly core service charge, and that account must be in good standing at all times.
In order to qualify for Free Service, you must refer at least one friend, family member or other person (a "Referral") who must do all of the following: (i) sign up for a new customer account for voip residential service, (ii) activate the account and pay the monthly core service charge for their plan; and (iii) continue to pay all charges on the account and keep the account in good standing for at least 90 (ninety) days. Additional lines on existing accounts do not qualify as a Referral.
"Free Service" means that you will receive a monthly credit against your account charges equal to your core service plan for each month you qualify. You will however continue to be subject to all usage charges, including international calls, directory assistance, operated assisted calls, etc. A maximum credit of $50.00 per Referral will be awarded to your account. If you have an annual plan or other prepaid plan, the monthly credit will accrue in your account and may be only used to extend your plan's service after the expiration of the prepaid period. All credits resulting from Free Service may: (i) only be applied against core service plan charges and for no other charges; (ii) may not be used to offset charges in other accounts or a Referral's account; (iii) may not be transferred or assigned; and, (iv) are not redeemable for cash or anything else of value. No refunds will be paid as any result of Free Service-Free Service is redeemable only as set forth in these Terms of Free Service.
Referrals are subject to verification by voip.com and only those Referrals that are confirmed and verified with you as the source will count as a qualified Referral.
If any of your Referrals do not pay their voip.com bills, do not keep their accounts active for at least 90 (ninety) days or have their service terminated for any reason, the referral will not qualify for a Free Service credit.
Business customers are not eligible for Free Service and business customer referrals do not qualify as a Referral.
voip.com may change these Terms of Free Service at any time and without notice. voip.com shall use its reasonable judgment in interpreting these Terms of Free Service and voip.com's determination is final.
