What’s a USB phone?
Headsets, basically headphones with a microphone, are a popular choice for making voip calls from your computer. They’re not the only choice, though. Some voip phones are specifically designed to work with your computer. They have a handset that’s similar to a regular, corded phone; however instead of plugging into a voip adapter, they go right into your computer’s USB port. When a call comes in, you don’t have to fumble with a headset, just pick up the phone and answer it.
