Protect your equipment from bad weather surges
Winter storms can play havoc with your area’s power grid. Keep sensitive voip equipment safe with properly rated surge protectors. Look for surge protectors with the UL-1449 designation and a joule rating of at least 400. Remember, you want your clamping voltage (point at which the protector kicks in) to be as low as possible and the total amount of energy that can be dissipated to be as high as possible.
