Transfer your number


First you’ll need to find out if your number is able to be transferred. Go to voip.com’s Available Numbers form and type your phone number into the Check Availability box. If your number is in a transferable region, you can start the transfer process immediately.

Log into your voip.com Account Manager and click the Account tab. Click the Change Number tab at the top of the window and then select Keep my existing number. Type your current number into the provided box and hit continue. Choose which type of Call Forwarding you’d like, enter your 911 address information and follow the prompts. When everything is correct, press Continue and send in your.

It can take up to 30 days to complete a transfer and your current phone number must be active the entire time. Be aware that some DSL accounts require at least a basic line in order for you to receive high-speed internet service.
