Does E911 work everywhere?
Even though your voip internet phone service provider may be E911 capable, the area where you live may not have the equipment to receive E911 information. You can verify that your E911 information is correct by dialing 933 from your voip phone. It may take a few moments, but when you get through, ask to check that your information is right and the operator will tell you what is currently in the database. In case of an actual emergency, you should dial 911.
