Backup Power for Your Voip Phone
In the event of a power failure, you typically won't be able to use your voip internet phone system. One way to ensure you have access to emergency services is to install an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). This device is basically a rechargeable battery system that can sense when there's not enough power for your voip phone. It automatically provides extra power whenever it's needed. Backup power from a UPS can last anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours.
