Additional Line Overview


An additional phone line is great for separating a home office from a home, keeping the kids' calls from affecting your adult conversations, or to help with whatever domestic situation may come along. An additional line is often used to help make communications less stressful.

Calls from your second, additional line will be separated and included in your monthly bill. Additionally, the service plan you choose for your second line is completely independent of your primary line. This means that you can choose the most appropriate plan for your needs. With plans starting at just 9.95 per month, a second line can be a very affordable addition.

Yes! An additional line is a completely separate phone line. You will be able to choose a new number specifically for this new line.

Do I have to have a phone number in the same area code as my first line?
No! You can choose a number in a completely different area code.

Will I need to have two phones?
To use a second line, you will either need 2 phones or a “2 Line” phone.
