Do I need to have my computer on to use the phone?
No! VoIP works independently of your computer and accesses your High Speed Internet connection directly. You can keep your computer off and use VoIP whenever you please. VoIP works just like the phones you have been using all of your life. The only difference is that you plug the phone into the VoIP phone adapter and not into the wall.
