How do I access my voicemail by telephone?
You can access your voicemail from your Voip phone, or, from any other telephone. To access your voicemail by telephone:
- From a touch-tone phone, dial your phone number
- If you hear your greeting
- Press the star (*) key
- Enter your Phone number
- Enter your passcode
Once you have successfully entered your passcode, you are within your voicemail system. Please follow the operator instructions to access your messages, change your greetings, or modify other voicemail options.
NOTE: Your default passcode is 0000
How do I set up my voicemail?
To set up your voicemail for the first time:
- From a touch-tone phone, dial your voip.com phone number
- Enter your passcode and then press the # key
- Note: The default passcode is 0000
- Enter your new passcode and press the # key
- Re-enter your new passcode and press the # key
- Say the name you wish to record and press the # key
- Press the * key to save your settings or follow the operator's instructions to re-record
To modify your settings:
- From a touch-tone phone, dial your voip.com phone number
- Enter your passcode and then press the # key
- To record your name, press 2 and follow the operator's instructions
What is the default passcode for voicemail?
The default passcode for voicemail is 0000
Viewing Voicemail Activity
To view your voicemail activity:
- Login to your account
- Click the Voicemail link
- All voicemail messages currently in your mailbox are listed
How can I check voicemail from an Internet browser?
- Login to your account
- Click the Voicemail link
- All voicemail messages currently in your mailbox are listed
- To listen to a voicemail, click the listen link next to the message
Note: To listen to voicemail from an Internet browser you will need speakers and a sound card capable of playing .wav files (most personal computers have this equipment).
How can I modify my Voicemail notification?
- Login to your account
- Click the Voicemail link
- Click the Settings link
- In the Notifications section, enter the address or phone number you wish to use for notification
- Click Save Changes
How can I modify my Voicemail Forwarding?
Voicemail Forwarding allows you to forward a .wav file to your email address.
- Login to your account
- Click the Voicemail link
- Click the Settings link
- In the Voicemail Forwarding section, enter your email address
- Click the Save Changes button
How can I reset my Voicemail?
- Login to your account
- Click the Voicemail link
- Click the Settings link
- In the Reset Voicemail PIN section, place a checkmark (select) the box.
- Click the Save Changes button
Your pin will be reset to 0000. You'll be asked to change it next time you call your voicemail.
How can I automatically login to my Voicemail?
- Login to your account
- Click the Voicemail link
- Click the Settings link
- In the Auto Login section, place a checkmark in the Phone # box
- Enter the desired phone number
- Click the Save Changes button
How can I change the number of rings before my Voicemail greeting plays?
- Login to your account
- Click the Voicemail link
- Click the Settings link
- In the Rings before greeting section, select the number of rings before the voicemail greeting should play
- Click the Save Changes button
